They went the whole season only losing one game, the last one, but they were winding down then as top spot was secure.

PostHeaderIcon What's coming up at Sutton JFC?

We are now entering tournament time so we expect most of our teams to be involved in some exciting events around the area. We hope to have a few winners this year and look forward to getting your tournament reports and pictures so we can share them on here. Please get your team managers to send us a report or even your parents, the more we get the better.

We also have the Presentation Evening coming up on Saturday 19th June. We are not having much luck with our guest personality so we may have to let the managers hand the trophies out again. If anyone can help us find a sporting personality at short notice please let us know!

Following on from the Presentation Evening, the next day infact, we shall once again be parading in the Sutton Fun Day on Sunday 20th June. We plan to take part in the parade and also have a shoot out competition on the field afterwards. Please let your managers know if you can take part as soon as possible.

On 26th June Sutton Juniors hope to have a stand at the Glusburn School Fayre, please come along and support the event as the school has provided valuable facilities for our Under 7, 8 & 9 teams this year.

You may have noticed that there is no date for the usual Dads Tournament this year. We have been unable to get a suitable date in the park and felt that, with the World Cup taking place this Summer there's enough extra football going on so we will leave it until next year and allow plenty of time for everyone to get fit.

Registration forms - Yes, we are already sending out registration forms for next season so when you get yours make sure you get it back to your manager as soon as possible. The reason we are getting them out so early is because we have found in the past that we have trouble having enough players signed on for the start of the season due to lots of players not coming back until after the Summer holidays which is too late for the first few matches. Please help us by getting the forms back quickly, also note the cost of becoming a member has not increased this year!
Forms are available to download from the download page on this website if you have not been given one by your manager. You will also need the Medical consent form.
This year there will also be a consent form to allow us to use photographs of players on our website, we follow FA guidelines in regards to photo's and video, you should be given a copy with your consent form but they are also available on the downloads page.

Finally, we are within touching distance of acheiving  FA Standard Charter status. This has involved managers having to go on training courses to get Level 1 FA coaching certification, some even have level 2 status, also lots of work has been done behind the scenes by the committee members to get to this stage. More on Charter Standard when we get the actual notification!

If anyone has anything that they would like to see on our website please send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

GOOD LUCK IN ALL YOUR TOURNAMENTS
